TML Holds Virtual District Meetings
In December, TML hosted its annual District Meetings virtually using a Zoom webinar format.
The meeting agenda featured:
- An update on Tennessee's economy with Revenue Commissioner David Gerregano
- An update on various federal and state infrastructure funding and projects with Interim TDOT Commissioner Joe Galbato, III
- An update on TDEC's Water Infrastructure Investment Plan for deployment of American Rescue Plan (ARP) Fiscal Recovery Fund dollars with Deputy Commissioner Greg Young
- TML’s 2022 legislative priorities proposed by Tennessee cities and approved by the TML board
The purpose of the meetings is to inform city officials on a number of issues that we anticipate will impact cities and towns prior to the 112th General Assembly convening for its second session in January. It is important that all city officials are prepared to voice support or concern with their legislators and help educate them on the needs of our cities and towns.
