A. Keith McDonald, mayor of Bartlett, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris at the Shelby County Shining Star Awards Dinner on Dec. 11, 2021. McDonald was awarded for his long service to his community both during and before his tenure as an elected official. McDonald has been mayor of Bartlett since 2003 and before that served as an alderman from 1997 until 2002. Mayor McDonald serves on the TML Board of Directors and was named TML's Mayor of the Year in 2012. McDonald has retired from the insurance industry after 32 years of service.
