Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis has been selected as the new city manager of Rocky Top after having served as interim city manager since March. Ellis recently retired as a high school teacher for Anderson County Schools and was formerly employed as a girls’ basketball coach and road superintendent for Anderson County. Ellis takes over from previous City Manager Michael Foster, who now serves as a loss control consultant for Public Entity Partners in East Tennessee.
