Kirsten Ert Acuff

Kirsten Ert Acuff, city manager for Lakesite, graduated from the Politics of Decision-Making Fellowship at the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. The program equips participants with meaningful conflict analysis and resolution ideas, skills, and experience to pursue more effective and peaceful political relationships, processes, and governance. Acuff has served as city manager of Lakesite since June 2022. Prior to that, she served as a senior community planner, city planner and government management graduate intern in Collegedale. A native of Germany, Ert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Hawaii at West Oahu and holds a master’s in public administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
