James Brummett

James Brummett, Oliver Springs councilmember and former vice mayor, died Dec. 5, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Brummett served on the Oliver Springs City Council representing Ward 6 for more than a decade and served as vice mayor during his tenure on the board. He was also elected in 2006 to the Roane County Commission, where he served as chairman for three terms.
