Jenni Nisewander

Jenni Nisewander has been appointed to serve as the finance director designee for the city of Cookeville in preparation for the upcoming retirement of long-time Finance Director Brenda Imel. Nisewander will work closely with Imel during the coming months to ensure a seamless shift in leadership. Nisewander holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Tennessee Technological University (TTU). She is both a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified municipal finance officer (CMFO). Before joining the city of Cookeville, she spent 15 years at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) on Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma. She joined the city of Cookeville in 2022.
