Julie High

Julie High has been selected as the new city manager of Goodlettsville following the retirement of City Manager Tim Ellis on Sept. 30. High has served as Goodlettsville’s assistant city manager since 2021 and joined the city’s staff in 2004 as director of finance and administration. Prior to her work with Goodlettsville, High served as director finance for the city of White house from 2000 to 2004. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, High has taken on various other leadership roles in Goodlettsville and across the state. She was also named the Tennessee City Manager Association’s Assistant City Manager of the Year in 2024.
