Dyersburg opens new Criminal Investigation Division building

Officials with the city of Dyersburg and Dyersburg Police Department (DPD) cut the ribbon on the new DPD Criminal Investigation Division North Precinct. The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for investigating major crimes, processing evidence, and working with local, state, and federal partners to help keep the community safe. The new facility will ensure detectives have the resources they need to serve citizens by investigating crimes, solving cases, and bringing perpetrators to justice. The facility will also allow for processing evidence and for DPD to work with local, state, and federal partners to meet community safety needs.
