Dhathri Chunduru

Dhathri Chunduru has been selected as the new senior advisor of housing to Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s office. Chunduru will lead coordination between Nashville departments, build strategic partnerships, guide cross-sector collaboration, and remove barriers to advancing the Unified Housing Strategy. Prior to joining the city, she served as director of research and planning for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency for five years, providing strategic direction for statewide housing programs. Chunduru holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Vanderbilt University, a master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago, and a doctorate in education and quantitative methods from Johns Hopkins University.
