K9 Kilo joins Mount Carmel Police

K9 Kilo has joined the Mount Carmel Police Department as the first ever K9 unit on active duty. A specially trained police dog, Kilo will assist in a wide range of law enforcement duties including narcotics detection, suspect tracking, and search-and-rescue operations. His arrival marks a significant enhancement to the department’s capabilities and reflects its ongoing commitment to public safety and modern policing. Kilo’s addition to the Mount Carmel Police Department was made possible through a grant from the Jireh K9 Training Academy in San Antonio, Texas.
