Ron Street

Ron Street, police chief of Jonesborough, has announced his decision to retire effective April 30. Street has served as Jonesborough’s police chief since 2016. He previously served as Johnson City’s chief of police before retiring from that position in 2003 and then eight years as a chief deputy for the Carter County Sheriff’s Office. Street has more than 43 years of service in law enforcement.
