Burt Johnson
Burt Johnson, city manager of Soddy-Daisy, has been selected to serve on the Parkridge Health System Board of Trustees, which provides input on strategic direction and leadership. Parkridge recently broke ground on a new, freestanding emergency room in Soddy-Daisy projected to be open in the spring of 2024. The Chattanooga-based company presently operates four hospitals in the Greater Chattanooga area. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a certified public accountant (CPA), and a certified municipal finance officer (CMFO). He has been employed with the city of Soddy-Daisy since 2011. Prior to his work in local government, he worked for the Joseph Decosimo and Company accounting firm in Chattanooga. He also presently serves on the North Hamilton County Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce board.
