Jason Miles

Jason Miles has been selected as the new public works director for the city of Johnson City. Miles brings more than 25 years of experience to the department and its five divisions: engineering, solid waste, stormwater, streets, and traffic. Miles comes to Johnson City from Fayetteville, N.C., where he was served as the city’s project and contract manager where he oversaw planning, budgeting, design, permitting and construction administration for capital improvement, FEMA, grant-funded and other city projects. Miles earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in civil engineering and is pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas in engineering.
