Construction progresses on downtown Clarksville parking garage

Construction is progressing on the new eight-deck downtown parking garage in Clarksville at First and Commerce Streets. The garage is on track to open later this summer if there are no major weather delays. The new garage will be next to the existing Cumberland Plaza Park Garage and the two garages will connect at the Commerce and Second Street levels. A pedestrian bridge will also extend from the Second Street level of the garage to Franklin Street, next to the Performing Arts Center. The new garage will offer 587 parking spaces and replaces two parking lots in the same area.
