Kellye Murphy

Kellye Murphy, director of tourism and marketing for the city of Columbia, has been named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in the Greater Nashville Area for 2025 by The Women We Admire.  This prestigious honor highlights Murphy’s impactful leadership, longstanding commitment to the tourism industry, and her passion for mentoring others in her field and community. Murphy has more than two decades of experience in marketing and the hospitality industry, including building the city of Columbia’s marketing and tourism department from the ground up. She founded 360 Degrees Women in Marketing in Franklin and Marketing Mavens in Columbia—two networking and support groups designed to connect and empower women in the marketing industry. She is a graduate of Leadership Maury, currently serves on its board, and holds a Professional in Destination Management (PDM) certification.
