Mt. Juliet cuts ribbon on new police HQ
Officials with the city of Mt. Juliet have cut the ribbon on the first purpose-built headquarters building for the Mt. Juliet Police Department (MJPD). The new building provides two community storm shelters, evidence processing space, K-9 kennels, and plenty of training and office space. The headquarters will also house an advanced communications center for both police and fire as well as real-time intelligence operations. Officers and staff will also have access to wellness areas, including a gym, showers, and quiet rooms.
