Nick Geis

Nick Geis has been named the newest assistant manager for Johnson City. Geis comes to Johnson City from Lexington, N.C., where he served as assistant manager overseeing daily operations for water and wastewater, electric utilities, customer service, recycling and waste, stormwater, fleet services, and other city departments. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade with the city of Winston-Salem, N.C., including serving as director of fleet services, director of property and facilities management, and as assistant director and financial analyst for the sanitation department. Geis earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University.
