Jon Ward

Jon Ward has been appointed the first assistant city manager for Cookeville. Ward has served as the city’s community development director for the past 10 years and will continue in that role while serving as assistant city manager. Prior to serving as community development director, Ward also served as assistant director of the city’s planning department. Before joining the city of Cookeville, he served as a business development consultant and principal planner for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University.
