Phillip Fuqua

Phillip Fuqua has been selected as the new chief of police for Martin, taking over from retiring Chief Don Teal. Fuqua previously served as the department’s assistant chief of police and began his career in law enforcement at the Martin Police Department in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bethel University and a master’s in criminal justice from Bethel University. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
