David Travis

David Travis has been unanimously selected as the full-time city administrator for Dickson. Travis has been serving as acting city administrator for a year after the retirement of previous City Administrator Rydell Wesson. Travis began his career with the city of Dickson in April 1995 as a part-time employee with the city’s parks and recreation department. He became a full-time employee in June of that year, rising to the position of crew leader. He became supervisor of building and grounds in 2014 and then superintendent of the public works department in 2015. He then became director of the department in 2017.
