Tennessee March 2026 unemployment rate remain unchaged
Tennessee's unemployment held steady at 3.6% in March 2026. While the unemployment rate was unchanged between March and February, the year-over-year unemployment rate increased by 0.1%. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) said nonfarm employment increased by 12,100 jobs between February and March. The largest increases were in the healthcare and social assistance sector, followed by the accommodation and food services sector, and with the administrative, support, and waste services sector in third. Over the past year, employers have added 9,200 jobs. TDLWD has compiled an economic analysis of the March 2026 unemployment data.
