Tim Ellis

Tim Ellis, longtime Goodlettsville City Manager and TML District 5 Director, has announced his intention to retire after nearly 40 years of service in local government. Ellis will have served as Goodlettsville’s city manager for 15 years at the time of his retirement, which is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2026. In addition to serving as city manager since 2011, he spent four years as Goodlettsville’s assistant city manager and three years as the city’s director of parks, recreation, and tourism. Prior to coming to Goodlettsville in 2003, Ellis spent more than 14 years as director of parks, recreation, and cultural011 arts for the city of White House and nearly three years as recreation supervisor for the city of Springfield.
