Nashville’s Mill Ridge Park will receive $4 million in improvements through a $2 million grant from the National Park Service and matching funds from the Joe C. Davis Foundation. The funds will be used to advance the Farm at Mill Ridge Park, a project that will create new spaces for outdoor recreation, nature education, environmental stewardship, community agriculture, and historical preservation. The funds will help restore several historic farm buildings while adding valuable green space to the fast-growing South Nashville area. The first phase of Mill Ridge Park opened to the public in August 2023, and includes 622 acres.
