Tennesseans encouraged to report school concerns via app

TNSafe

As students return to classrooms across Tennessee, a new app is being recommended to parents, students, and teachers across the state. Gov. Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security have invited all Tennesseans to download the SafeTN app, which gives a direct line for confidentially reporting suspicious or concerning activity within schools. The tipline is designed for the anonymous reporting or violence or assault, threats of violence or planned attack, and physical injury or harm to self or others. Concerns and tips are vetted by law enforcement 24/7 to address concerns.
