The city of Nashville has announced the addition of 300 acres of forest to the city’s A.G. Beaman Park. The new acres were acquired through the work of the city, The Conservation Fund, and numerous donors. The new land will expand the park to permanently protect one of Nashville’s significant natural landscapes. The city has already committed $1 million toward the project with an additional $1.08 million awarded through the Tennessee Heritage Conservation Trust Fund and the Beaman Family Foundation donating $1 million to help finance the park expansion.
