Jackson manufacturer announces second major expansion

MAT Industries will expand its Jackson manufacturing operations as part of the second phase of an ongoing expansion project. MAT Industries originally announced an expansion of its Jackson facility in June 2025 that would invest $9 million and bring 30 new jobs to the plant. The most recent announcement includes the addition of 85 more jobs as well as a new production line to increase capacity and output for the company’s business. Headquartered in Long Grove, Ill., MAT was founded in 1984 and is a a leading manufacturer of air compressors and air brake tanks, serving consumer and contractor markets with more than 40 factories and 14,000 employees on three continents across the globe.
