Tim Ward
Tim Ward, chief of the Greeneville Police Department, will retire after a 33-year career. Ward’s last day will be April 1. Steve Spano will serve as interim chief until a permanent replacement can be found. Ward began his career with the Greeneville Police Department in 1990 and worked his way up through the ranks including serving as an administrative captain, patrol captain, detective lieutenant, SWAT and Special Response Team commander, narcotics agent, and patrol officer. Ward was selected as the police chief for Greeneville in 2018.
