German company to expand manufacturing of EV products at Morristown location

MAHLE GmbH officials announced the company is expanding its manufacturing operations in Morristown, investing more than $10 million and creating nearly 50 additional jobs. The expansion will bring the company’s total headcount in Morristown to 800 people and will allow MAHLE to start production of electric compressors used on fuel-cell electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and full electric vehicles. Founded in 1920, MAHLE is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, and employs more than 67,000 people across the globe. Today, one in every two vehicles globally is equipped with MAHLE components.
