Brentwood Police Department retains CALEA accreditation

The Brentwood Police Department has retained its Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation. The designation followed a multi-year self-assessment phase and a meticulous site-based assessment of community engagement, policy, procedures, equipment and facilities by CALEA assessors, attending CALEA conferences, and a review from the CALEA board of commissioners. The Brentwood Police Department first received CALEA accreditation in 1989 and has been reaccredited 11 times since.
