Dr. Ihab Habib

Dr. Ihab Habib has been selected as the new street department director for the city of Clarksville. Habib brings more than 20 years of experience as a construction project engineer and educator with expertise in simultaneous management of projects, estimating costs, quality control, construction administration, scheduling, and building information (BIM). Habib has served numerous roles in both municipal government and education including as project engineer for the city of Gallatin, an adjunct professor of engineering at Volunteer State Community College, and as an associate professor and program manager of construction at Austin Peay State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and structures from Ain Shams University in Cairo, a master’s in civil and environmental engineering from Tennessee State University, and a doctorate in education, leadership and professional practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.
