Chattanooga unveils new fire tower

The Chattanooga Fire Department and Hamilton County Emergency Management have unveiled a state-of-the-art $3 million fire training tower. The new facility will provide realistic, hands-on training to ensure our crews are ready for any emergency. The tower replaces an older facility that was 50 years old and demolished in 2023. The new 8,053-square-foot tower includes six stories, multiple burn rooms and allows the department to create live fires, smoke, and sound generations that will recreate environments firefighters deal with in real life.
