Kym Hughes

Kym Hughes has been selected as the new tourism director for Manchester. Hughes has 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, including extensive leadership in destination marketing, tourism development, and community engagement. She most recently worked as the Main Street manager for Valdosta, Ga., and has held roles such as executive director of Peachtree City, Ga., executive director of Experience Fayetteville, Ark., and executive director of Sandy Springs, Ga. She has served on the boards of the Georgia Association of CVBs and the Southeast Tourism Society, reflecting her longstanding involvement and leadership in the tourism industry. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and is a certified destination management executive.
