Mt. Juliet opens new fire station
The city of Mt. Juliet has opened Fire Station No. 3 on the city’s northside, the third fire station in the city. The $4.6 million fire station is more than 10,000 square feet and serves several major neighborhoods in the city’s north side. The new station includes a kitchen, 13 small bedrooms, a shower area, laundry area, communications space, TV viewing area, fire engine bay, courtyard, and tornado shelter. The station was initially proposed in 2014.
