Eric Ault

Eric Ault has been selected as the new personnel director for the city of Oak Ridge. Ault has been with the city since February 2020 when he was hired as a process improvement specialist in the city’s electric department. He was then promoted to assistant to the city manager, a role he has served in for two years. He has been serving as interim personnel director since December 2022. Ault holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in public policy and administration, both from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He is a member of the Tennessee City Manager’s Association (TCMA).
